TRAVEL HOUSE

Travel House was Wales’ largest travel agency and was a family run business with 16 branches throughout South Wales. Travel House also ran a small in-house tour operator.

Travel House was originally formed in 1992 and expanded to over 115 branches over 7 years until the sale of the company to TUI UK in 2000, A number of branches and the Travel House brand were repurchased from TUI in 2004.

Travel House traded for a further 19 years, until late November 2023 where it was then sold to Hays Travel.

PRINCESS HOUSE

Princess House is a high-rise office scheme in Swansea city centre. It extends over 10 floors and 44,500 sq ft.

It was purchased in 2013 and has undergone expansive refurbishment to both communal areas and internal workspace. A number of key tenants occupy the building including Regus, part of the IWG Group, and the Consumer Helpline, a local energy consultant.

The building was sold to a local investment company in 2021 following a successful period of ownership in which most leases were re-geared by professional consultants Glanmor Chartered Surveyors.

The building is allocated for further re-development in line with city centre projects.



PREVIOUS INVESTMENTS

SWANSEA AIRPORT

Swansea Airport was purchased in 2000 and operated until 2003 in which Air Wales conducted a number of direct flights to Dublin, Cork, Amsterdam, Jersey and London.

The airport was subsequently sold to Air Wales owner and director Roy Thomas in 2003.

A dream of Swansea.com’s was to have a fully functioning regional airport in the UK’s 25th largest city.



PREVIOUS INVESTMENTS

COSTA D'EN BLANES

Over the last 20 years the business has developed properties around the globe which include this villa situated in the Costa D’en Blanes region of Majorca. The villa underwent significant refurbishment adding bathrooms, roof terrace and cosmetic touches.

This investment was subsequently sold in 2018.
